Hey all, I swam at Sleepy Hollow State park last evening and the water was almost hot! In fact near shore on the east end of the beach area it was hot like bath water.  Unless we get some cooler temps and a ton of rain in the next few weeks I can pretty much say this race will NOT be wetsuit legal.

on the plus side it was as clear as I've seen it and the weeds were not quite as bad as normal.

Swam again tonight so here's a temp update... with the cooler nights and rain last week, the lake has cooled some.  Depending on where they take the temp at there might be a possibility it's wetsuit legal but it's going to be close.  I personally don't think I could stand wearing a wetsuit with it as warm as it is right now.

Look for Hagerman and I at the race.  We'll have our Team Motiv8 banner up on a MSU tent for anyone that wants to hang out.
