NYRRC NY Marathon 18M Tune-Up - Run

Comments: Took first lap easy at 48 mins. Intent was to run 48 1st lap, 45 2nd lap, and 42 3rd lap. Hit the first two splits, but had to adjust 42 goal to 43 mins because I was experiencing slight stiffness on front upper left hip area. Haven't done enough long runs maybe? What would you do differently?: Surprised that I was able to hit my splits consistently, considering I had never run a hilly course before. Post race
Warm down: Kept walking, stretching, walking, stretching. What limited your ability to perform faster: Had not run 15+ miles since marathon? Probably would have been good to put a few more long runs.
