Swim
Comments: Swim was once again a struggle. Added one minute on the swim compared to the same race as 2 weeks ago. What would you do differently?: Work has been crazy for the last 2 weeks and I've only been able to swim once in the last 2 weeks. More time training. Transition 1
Comments: Could have been a little faster but was trying to rest a little. What would you do differently?: Suck it up and run faster Bike
Comments: Pushed really hard on the bike. Faster time I've ever had on the bike. Was just a few seconds from finishing 2nd in my age group. What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 2
Comments: Added about 30 seconds compared to my usual T2. What would you do differently?: Not turn around for more water. Run
Comments: Can't think if anything going much worse than my run today. Haven't had any time to train for the last couple of weeks and knew I wouldn't have much for the run, so I put everything into the bike. Was completely spent when I came off the bike. Just had to suck it up and shuffle through 3 miles without falling out. What would you do differently?: Everything Post race
Warm down: Got in the water and cooled down. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not being able to train almost none for the last 2 weeks Last updated: 2011-04-25 12:00 AM

Sunny
Overall Rank = 209/308
Age Group = 35 - 39
Age Group Rank = 18/27
Woke up at 4AM and got a shower. Packed the car and out of the house with the wife just before 5. Made a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich and ate it on the way to the race. Arrived at the race site about 6 and got marked and was ready to go.
Not much. Got in the water for just a few minutes.
