Subject: tri ptc today
Did anyone else think the bike course was short and the run course was long?  My bike computer told me the bike was 13.4 miles and my watch told me the run was 3.2 miles.

I had 12.97 on my garmin & 3.16 on the run, excluding Transition.  The swim actually seemed short.

Was a fun time though today, perfect weather.

14 mile as part of the official race results makes for some blazing looking bike splits given that it was definately <13.5

My garmin had 13.02 on bike and 3.20 on the run I hit the lap button at all timing mats..It was a fun race..Just trying to get the brown muck out of my tri suit from the lake..lol

The run will always record a little bit long because you don't run the shortest distance.

Not me Doug. I will knock people and things out of my way to try and get a shorter route. See, me and the run got this thing between us. We just don't like each other. If I stop my watch at the 5K mark I have a PR by over 2 minutes. As it was, it still was a PR but the run is not where I need any extra distance!
