Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 5am. Ate yogurt, protein shake and cottage cheese, left house by 6:15. Ate a few bites of peanut butter and honey at 7. Drank No-xplode 40 minutes prior.

Pushed really hard on bike. Raced another guy for 20 miles back and forth. Calves were tightening up

Run was really tough since i pushed a little too hard on the bike. With 1 mile left i wanted to give up so i ended up walking for about 30 seconds. This is the part of the race i need to train more on.
What would you do differently?:

Have more calories on the bike. Train harder for the run. Start at a faster pace.

not training hard enough on the run.

Nice job, I saw a ton of people blow up and walk that course, the first half of the bike was really deceiving.
