I'll have to be with you in spirit this year, but count me in for next year!  I'm moving back to the Wichita Falls area in November.  Good luck to you all!

A group of us from the DFW area are riding up there from Fort Worth on Friday(100 miles), riding the HHH 100 on Saturday, and then riding back to the Fort Worth area on Sunday(100 miles).  It should be a good challenge for us.  We are calling it To Hell and Back.

Count me in!  Except I won't get 100; the cat 4 race is only going 90 this year.  Should be alot of fun!

It was hot.. I almost sagged after getting hellacious cramps in my quads at mile 78, but fought on.  I finished but really paid the price since as soon as i got off the bike, my right quad completely locked up and I couldn't get it to release for a good 2-3 minutes.  Talk about pain.  Definitely didn't get enough long rides in this year and with this heat it makes it 10 times worse.  My only other hotter n hell was 2 years ago when it was a high of 80 something, so this was my first "real" hhh, definitely learned a lesson.  I was doing over 20mph average up to mile 78, I think I did 15mph the last 22!  Terrible but so glad to have made it.

Had a greet time! Only sucky part was my tire shredded at mile 100 so I just took off my shoes and ran the two miles to the finish line! Got some nice heat blisters on my feet but well worth it, didn't go all that way to sag back; and still managed to do it under six hours. Next year I want to do the triple heat
