Swim
Comments: Decent performance. Had leg cramps that kept me from giving a full kick. Really hurt me later. What would you do differently?: wear a wetsuit. I give up to much time without. Transition 1
Comments: Transition was pretty good. Had to take time to clean my sand from my feet from the beach run. everything went on smoothly. What would you do differently?: nothing different here. Bike
Comments: 20 feet out of transition I had massive leg cramps. I had to stop put my bike in the ditch and stretch my legs. Left calf cramped were I could not ride. took about 2 mins to get it to relax. Then had to ride the first 3 miles slow to continue to stretch. It effected me the entire race. What would you do differently?: Take in a salt tablet to fight off cramps. and wear a wetsuit to help prevent cramping in cold water. Transition 2
Comments: It was a bit slower than normal I was still cramping. Took in some extra nutrition to try and help. Run
Comments: ran ok, limped in the last 3/4 mile. Post race
Warm down: stretched, and stretched some more. What limited your ability to perform faster: leg cramps. Event comments: It was not as well as I have seen at other races, but some of the others that host races here do a spectacluar job. Last updated: 2011-06-26 12:00 AM

Good breakfast 2 1/2 hours before race. Double check back and gear.
Was a little short. ran a bit, no swimming the water was too cold and I did not have a wetsuit. Mine new suit will be in this week.
