Comments: My goal was 30 minutes so I came close. I forgot to start my watch until about 1/2 mile into the run!! So it was hard to know if my pace was correct. First mile was 8:15 or so...TOO fast for me at this time (only two months of training.) This hurt me on the second mile. The third mile I was loose and ran a little better. My legs felt very heavy during the middle of the race. It was hard to just keep going. My other goal was to run the whole thing and not walk. I managed to do that. Post race
