Comments:

Ran well through my 17. My split at the half way mark would have been a personal best. At my 17 I started walk running but by mile 21 it was an all out walk. I had pain in my achilles tendon, knee and thigh. I did finish with a hobbling type jog to just finish under the 7 hour mark. The day started out cool and wet but by the end of the run it was Sunny and above 70.
What would you do differently?:

My goal was to finish and I did but I am frustrated with the last nine miles or so. I need to drop some weight and will go for it again.
Post race
Warm down:

stretched and then practiced pool to hottub transitions.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

my weight.

You finished and that is fantastic! I can't even imagine doing a marathon. Ok, maybe imagine, but it is so far off.

Gotta love those pool to hot tub transitions!
