Pre-race routine:

Registered the morning of as it was a last minute race for me.
Event warmup:

1.5 mile run to the car and back after registering

Comments:

Started out great, wanted to negative split the first 2 miles as I knew the 3rd was where the hills were. Run went as planned. Stayed with the second group of runners as the lead pack had a few ringers in it. left my group behind in the last mile of hills. Saw another runner up ahead and picked him off for 5th over all
