Comments: After 2.5 km left knee started to hurt. What would you do differently?: Wear a hat. Wouldn't run if anything hurts, definitly not sprint. Run my own race. Not stopping asking questions and going back and forth. Post race
Warm down: Walked around to cool down my knee. I was actualy going to train station but walked back, but it was good that I did it. Warm tea. Streching. What limited your ability to perform faster: Current level of fitness. Current strenght of my leg muscles. Pain in my knee. Heat. Event comments: I felt safe on the road and well protected. If it weren't BT I wouldn't go there! I completely forgot and only noticed when I logged this morning. Luckily I recently purchased some summer running top and excercise shorts so I had what to wear for the race.
Ate fruit and cereals with water and some juice.
2 sets by 8 repetition dynamic streching (leg swings) 3 directions.
