wanted to hold 6:50 pace started off a little fast at 6:35, eased off which ended up being a little too much second mile was 6:57, but still on pace. The next 2.7 miles are uphill and they really took it out of me, once I reached the top I just did not have enough in the tank to crank out 6:40's down. Used this race as a good training run ended up 2 minutes slower than last time I ran it.

Just now starting my long run of 13+ miles, only ran 10-11 miles so going in I knew it would be hard to hold race pace for 9.3 miles.

Nice race, the trail is beautiful and I like the incline, knowing that you get to come back down, wish my fitness was better for it this year. They also have a 5k.
