Subject: Polar RCX5 - $TBD
I purchased a Polar RCX5 multi the day it was available. I *thought* I would like it better than my Garmin 305. While I like the size, I did not like not having an integrated GPS - I was always forgetting to take it And I didn't like not having elevation, thought I could live without it, I was wrong, my issues though.

Watch (HRM), (used approx 5-10 times) $328.96
Stride Sensor (never opened) $139.95
Bike Mount and W.I.N.D Speed Sensor (opened, installed and removed before use) $ 54.95

I *may* be able to return the stride sensor as it was never opened.

Min offer for entire group - $450
Min offer for HRM Watch and Bike Mount 300

Other offers considered.

Isn't something wrong when you're asking $150 more for an item you paid $140 for?  Or am I reading it wrong?

You're reading it wrong.

I paid 328 for the watch/HRM
140 the stride sensor
55 for the bike mount

total ($523)

min I am asking for all 3 is 450 (almost $75 LESS than what I paid)
or 300 (minus the bike mount of 140)

That make it clearer??

I don't know.

The way I read it is this.

You're offering me the watch and mount for $300.  And if I pay your $150 more ($450), I get an additional item (stride sensor) that's only worth $140.

I would be better off paying $140 retail for the stride sensor from a store.  Assuming no tax...it would be cheaper that way ($300 + $140 = $440...which is less than $450).

I appologize if I'm wrong...it's Friday, I'm tired...but I think what I'm saying makes sense.

In any case...best of luck on the sale.

I'm cutting over 75 dollars off and not asking for shipping and you're worried about $10? If so, then you're right, don't pay it and buy it retail. I just want to recoup some money as POLAR can't be bothered to have any customer service. I would HOPE that Polar would take back the unopened item which is why I listed it with or without.

Oh yeah, I had a 30% discount to purchase to begin with. All total I paid $525 +/- watch is retailing for almost $470, so I think it would be a sweet deal for someone.
