Comments: The run was great--started out too fast at a 7:15 mm so I had to slow down because I knew I couldn't keep it up for another 2.1. I do that all the time. Must learn to pace myself in the short races. What would you do differently?: Pace myself differently -- should be doing negative splits. I got lucky. Post race

Age Group Rank = 0/
Hydrated properly, ate one pancake with strawberries, orange juice, two cups of coffee for breakfast. Used peppermint foot and leg lotion. Stopped drinking water at about 10:30. Had GU 15 minutes prior to race.
Jogged for about 15 minutes to warm up prior to race.
