Nice race, Sal.  How was the turnout?  When I did the Pacesetters' Hot Summer Shoe-In 5k, there was a really low turnout (I think 15 people did the 5k) and I was disappointed.  We need more events down here, but it won't happen if the turnout continues to be low.

It was actually pretty good. I think there were around 115 participants. I came in 5th in my category. Actually did a little better than I expected. It was a good event. Good organization and the weather couldn't have been better, low 60's. My little brother competed in the 20-24 age group and he just started riding about two weeks ago. He ended up getting 2nd in his category and 6th overall. He smoked me by about 5 minutes!
