The race was in my neighborhood, so I jogged/ran the 1 mile from my house to the start of the race. Plus some stretching.

This was a PR for me.
What would you do differently?:

train more so I could have ran the 10K

Nope. I will be on a business trip.

But I plan on doing the Christmas run and the Independce 10K.
