All time splits will be published by tomorrow. I am thinking i got 5th over all and I placed 2nd in my age group.
Event warmup:

Five minute run then about five minutes of stretching. Ate a Goo 10 minutes before the start of the swim.

I ate another Goo (bad idea) had cottonmouth for about 1/2 the ride. Get some aerobars prior to next race.

Guessing on splits due to they were included in the run time. It felt really quick. No problem with socks or shoes.

What would you do differently?:

Throw some water over my head on the way out of the transition area. Do some track work prior to next race.

Warm down:

Average HR for the bike/run 161. Maxhr 166. Calories spent-939 (not including the swim).

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Training at higher intensities. This was the my first TRI of the season. Do more interval training and weight training!

Event comments:

Took 6+ minutes off last years time. Got beat by a 38 year old Navy SEAL. His third Tri this year. He finished in 57:22. This guy is frigin superman!
