This is the worst run I have had in a long time. About 1/4 of a mile in the front of my right thigh started to hurt badly. Every step felt like an enormous charlie horse. At first I thought it was just some cramping, but it got worse with every step. By the time I reached the finish the pain was terrible. I have never suffered through a run like this one, not even at the end of my 1/2.

I'm pretty sure I pulled or bruised something. I have been icing, wrapping and resting the leg, and it seems to be getting better, but it still hurts. I'm annoyed about the whole thing.

My time suffered because I was hurting. I had hoped to run 8 minute miles, and instead I came it more than a minute per mile slower. At least I was able to grit it out.
