Pre-race routine:

8 weeks total training. Rested for 3 days prior. Consumed 800g of carbs for those 3 days. Plenty of sleep.

Not much. Stretching and a 5 minute run.

What would you do differently?:

Swim faster I guess. Can't really complain here. I guess I just need more training

Need more training. These folks were fast!

spent 5 minutes in grass stretching. Wasn't sure I could keep going. Limped (literally) first mile. Started to loosen at mile 2.
What would you do differently?:

Prevent injury

What limited your ability to perform faster:

2 things. First, I just started training 8 weeks ago. Not enough. Second and more importantly my hamstring blew.

Event comments:

Great race in a beautiful setting. Well organized. Wish so much I didn't suffer the injury.
