Subject: Dynamic Stretching
I am ridiculously inflexible. I have been trying to stretch a few times a day for a while. I heard someone talking the other day about dynamic stretching and I have a few questions,

What is it?
Do any of you use it?
How does it work?
Is it effective?

Thanks for any input.

Subject: RE: Dynamic Stretching

(Google definition) Dynamic stretching "involves moving parts of your body and gradually increasing reach, speed of movement, or both." Dynamic stretching consists of controlled leg and arm swings that take you (gently!) to the limits of your range of motion. check this link for excercises: http://www.brianmac.demon.co.uk/dynamic.htm

I always use dynamic stretching for warming up before swimming, biking, running and even weight lifting. I use static for cooling down
