Comments:

1st 5k of the season. Ran with Kim (wife) for the 1st mile at 8:12, then increased pace, 2 miles at 15:56, very strong finish with last 1.1 miles at a 6:54 pace. Felt great with slower 1st mile and hard finish.
What would you do differently?:

Faster start.

Event comments:

Christmas lights are turned on throughout the park at the start of the race (5:15pm). Perfect weather with a slight breeze.
