Event comments: it was a fun morning recreational run. my uncle and brother are both in town, so the three of us ran together. we got to the course later than we had hoped, and couldn't get near the front to start, so we spent the first mile of the course playing dodg'em cars with everyone else on the course. Our mid-7's pace was probably 9+ for the first mile and then just over 7 or so for the rest. Fun times though. Now its time to EAT! Last updated: 2005-11-24 12:00 AM

woke up at 6:30. Tripped over a bunch of air mattresses on my way to the kitchen (all the cousins in town for Thanksgiving), got a clif bar and glass of water.
Walked, skipped and jumped the 1/4 mile or so from the car to the start line. Little bit of stretching the legs.
