RACE FOR THE HUNGRY - Run
View Member's Race Log View other race reports
I had a great day..... I hit that PR that I was aiming to get for my sick son at home.... I would have went at least 20 seconds faster had I not been stopped so that the trolley could pass..... ( what a bummer ) but I was very happy with my run...
What would you do differently?:
Nothing it was a great day .....
Walked around a little bit..... Then headed home so I could get ready to go to dad's for some turkey
What limited your ability to perform faster:
That damn trolley.....
Great race for a great cause.... I will make sure I do this one every year

Woke up at 2:45AM with my 3 yr old son.... He had a 104 temp.... So I stayed up with him watching Animal Planet.... He loves that station.... I started getting ready around 6AM and he asked where I was going .... I told him daddy had a race he asked if he was going and I had to tell him he couldn't go.... He replied because I'm sick??? Ok daddy good luck.... I knew I had to go out and get a PR.... Ate some breakfast stop at starbucks and off to the race I went...
Did some stretching.... Went for around a 8-10 min jog to warm up felt good even though I had been in bed sick the last couple of days...
