run4yrlif - 2005-12-09 1:39 PM I like my jeans to almost hit the floor in the back. That's perfect for me.

I like it when HER jeans hit the floor.  Ba-dum-dum.

My first time to venture into the COJ. Now I know why I stay in the triathlon forums...sheesh.

Hangloose...this is the only posting in this thread that has any value. Thanks for making me laugh out loud. I'm heading back to the Tri forum now.

First visit to the forum today and I read this thread! Thanks for the afternoon laugh, a great way to start the weekend.

if you have to ask, then I would say yes, they must be too short for your tastes

I just bought a pair of jeans that need to be worn with 2" heels and then they are just above the ground in back - I think I look very leggy in them.

I would LOVE to buy a pair of jeans (or pants for that matter) that I need to wear 2" heels with! I have a 35" inseam so it is very difficult to find pants long enough for me. But because I am 5'11" I don't wear 2" heels.

If you think the jeans are too short, they probably are...exchange them while you still can.

McFuzz - 2005-12-09 1:17 PM Oh, they might also shrink after they're washed. If they are marginal now, they'll likely be too short after.
This is true, I think they shrink up about 3/4 of an inch.

I can't complain because my husband willingly does our laundry....  but everything is getting shorter and shorter.....

you're missing the point. If your jeans were any longer they would conceal your prada heels. We can't have that happening now can we?

Jeans went back. Very sad as I really liked them. Will find some replacements...
