Run
Comments: I decided not to run/walk because I only really do that when I'm lazy. It was great to see so many people out running with their kids. This was a fun race, no numbers, no timing and it was great. A few inclines thrown in, but I managed my fastest pace ever. I think all the time on the bike has made a difference. What would you do differently?: Sign up earlier so I wouldn't have had to pay so much Post race
Warm down: Got some water, bagel and banana, talked with my new friend and her husband. I felt great, a little twinge in the knee, but feel really good. What limited your ability to perform faster: I hate running, lol Event comments: This is a good family friendly race. Last updated: 2005-12-18 12:00 AM

I decided on the spur of the moment to get up and run this race. I decided it would count as a workout. I signed up race day, and got a really cool shirt. I met a really nice woman in the bathroom line, we had decided to get in line for the men's room because the line was shorter, turns out she does tris, is a lawyer too and just moved to Scottsdale from Oregon. We exchanged numbers to hook up for some training after the holidays.
I took my shirt back to the car, put on my antlers and got ready to go. It was cold, but I knew I'd warm up soon
