.5 mile jog
Run

Comments:

I have raced this course 6 times, 3 times in a triathlon and 3 in the run and have PR'ed each time. I had a target to shoot at of 36:32 from the April triathlon and I made it! Tried to contain myself on the way out but went pretty quick. Ankle pain kicked in bad about mile 2.5 but pushed to break 36.
What would you do differently?:

no issues
Post race
Warm down:

watched friends come in and strected a little

What limited your ability to perform faster:

ankle

Event comments:

Flora Bama always puts on a fun race. We had a big crowd in the race with 7 adults and 2 one miler kids. Worm and Dorie placed in age group.

Grats on the race

I love to race.  I bet this is just what you needed

You need an ankle transplant then you are set.

Great job on the PR

Tried to register for Mullet Man this morning, but according to Active.com "online registeration is no longer available", so I called the RD to see if it was sold out (already?!?!) or if the website was just crazy. She wasn't in yet, so I left a message for her to call me back. I really hope it's not sold out.

Nice race!!  It must be nice to live in such a warm climate...I'm such a cold weather weenie...although, it's 19 degrees outside right now and I plan on running in an hour - but I digress....

Sorry your ankle was such a pain.
