Very cool bike!!! Welcome to the QR family!!!

About the seat, I think it is the same one that came on my 05 Caliente, save yourself the hassle, you will not get used to it. Throw that POS away and buy a new one today! I bought a Profile Tristryke and like it so far (I have one 15 mile ride on it).

No idea for a name, I am still trying to come up with a name for mine.

Now go ride-fast!

oneword - 2006-01-26 2:03 PM How about putting Iowa tigerhawks ALL OVER the frame and naming it "Herky"?

Why the hell would I do a stupid thing like that?!?!  Just kidding.  One of my good friends is a Hawkeye fan but we attribute that to all the mercury in the water in his hometown in IA.

So, with the balmy springlike weather we're having, I decided to take a quick ride yesterday afternoon.  I rode for about 30 min and, while it was exciting to be on my new bike, the ride pretty well sucked.  First, it was windy as heck.  Second, I spiked my HR right away (wanted to see how fast I could go) and couldn't get it down.  Third, I was going VERY slowly through every puddle.  Fourth, I just couldn't get comfortable in aero.  Oh well, there's going to be LOTS of time for me to ride and get used to the bike.

Now I just gotta go clean all the grime and mud off my baby.  Hey, maybe that's her name.  Baby... "Nobody puts baby in a corner".  Can't go wrong with a Jennifer Grey/Patrick Swayze reference, can you?

I've got a great visual of you riding ohhhhh so slowly through those puddles, and grimacing when you got back at each little piece of muck. Seems like every time I clean my bike really well, I get caught in a darned sudden downpour. :p

... and hating the grinding sound the brakes are making 'cause there's all sorts of sand on the wheels.  That said, I'm gonna ride again today 'cause it's 45F and not windy like yesterday.
