Comments: Could not have asked for a more perfect day. There were only about 130 riders for the 26 miler. I rode with 4 other TNT ladies. One got a flat about 28 minutes into the ride. Then there was Usery...misery..but it wasn't as bad as I remembered. One of the ladies is in remission from cancer and since I'm not a hill person, I rode with her part of the way. I left her and turned around and went down the hill to come back up for a bit. She eventually waved me on. I rode about a mile with one guy who said his friends talked him into th 74 miler and then dropped him like a bad habit. The last 6 miles were a blast, I hooked on a pace line with the TNT contingent from Tucson. I even took a turn pulling. I do not normally ride that fast, i.e about 23 mph, but I figured I could hang on for 6 miles. We crossed together. Got a little food and back to the house. It was a fun ride. I will definitely be ready for 74 miles next year. What would you do differently?: Not one thing Post race
