It's pretty hilly. None of the climbs are very long, but there's a bunch of them for the bike. The run has a few hills, but not too bad. The swim is open water but I don't think there's any current. Let me know if you have any questions. I can't do the race this year (it's a really bad date), but I train there every week.

Did the race last year and the only surprise for me was the dirt road portion of the run. I guess thinking back on it now there was no other choice.  Not a problem just unexpected.

Are they doing the staggered time-trial type swim start again this year? Is good for people that don't like the chaos of a mass start I guess.

Cool race and very pretty area!

I rode the course today. It is ALL rolling hills. There are only a few flats. 2 nice size hills. It will be a fun course. The road bends quite a bit so buckle up and hold on. The run is flat, some paved trail, some road
