Subject: My article
I would like to know what anybody thinks about the first article I wrote in the Running section of this website.
I am preparing my two next articles:
A month off in the off-season
How to stay away from low back pain

I would like to have everybody's feedback on what subjects you would like me to write on and if the current article has been useful.

Thanks

I will see what I can drag up on shin splints, we have a heap of people at work get them, and its a common problem with those whom train on bitchumin a lot.

Aus is great, comming into summer, as for Brissy, sun, sand, surf, and a top place to work out. If you do come down under drop us a line

If you look at many of the recent post, I think that you find this is a sport that is taken up by alot of overweight (athena/clydesdale) athletes. Articles that talk about starting your run program from scratch would be a big benefit. I can stay in the middle of the pack on the swim for the most part and maintain on the bike, but the run is where I still have my biggest shortcoming and I am probably not alone. Running is not something a former powerlifter and shot putter such as myself would know anything about and I would look forward to some great insights from you.

What about interval training? When and how much?

Also perhaps you could write about some of the pros/cons of aqua-jogging.

1)Treadmills....I know most of my running through the winter will be on a treadmill. Should I just get on and run a consistant pace. Pick it up for a few laps (intervals ect..) I don't know if you have any insights to working with one but if you did I would be interested in whatever information you had.

2)Basic base building in the offseason while working up to a 10K race.

3)workout examples

These are just a few thoughts. I look forward to your articles. I thought the first one was a very good introduction to triathlons and the general basics. Keep up the good work.
Thanks,
Jim
