This is probably a really stupid question but is there a knack to openning the spreadsheet because whenever I try my computer opens Frontpage not excel and all I get is gobbledegook.

Hum, try this.  Right click on the file and then click 'Open With...' and select Excel.  If Excel isn't listed, select 'Choose Program' to find it.

It must have been something to do with my home computer because when I just tried again at work it openned fine.

You have my swim goal in yards though when it should be meters.

Bit of an iffy week last week but I'm going to catch up this week (fingers crossed)

Well I have picked up some, but I am still way behind.  This is going to be a hard challenge for me to hit.  Pool membership is up May 20, and I was counting on having until the 31.... plus missing a swim workout last week... missed 2 bike workouts due to car problems, and a run as well.  Well guess I gotta suck it up and get moving.

Hey all, I ran a PR this AM, 21:45 5k, WOOYOO!

I entered this race really to gauge where I was at for the sprint in 3 weeks and to do a Run LT.  Well yesterday a cold front passed through here and it was a nice cool crisp morning.  Rode my bike to the race, warmed up and proceeded to have a great race.  Then to top it off, I rode into work for 5.8 miles as hard as I could.  I'm on freaking cloud 9!

Moral of the stroy, it could only happen because in the last couple of months I stayed with it through the good and the bad.  Don't worry about the missed workouts, your next one just needs to be done correctly and with focus to be an effective building block...

Don

Wooyoo!

Ok here are the Week 2 results.  Those at or above the 45.2% monthly point are in Blue, those not are in Red.

Keep at it all, I'm going swimming this afternoon before the storms arrive...

Okay, so I was looking over the spreadsheet, and you only have me down for 2 miles running for week one (i logged it late) instead of 13.5.  I don't want to be in the red..........

There was also a mile and a quarter on the bike that same day (May 7th).

I've been trying hard to stay ahread of the game.

Got is Senja.  See attached.  I thought with that 25 mile goal your run total was pretty low

I have more than the spreadsheet has currently as i was away from a computer while I raced this weekend. I'm in a new house without internet access also.

Currently:

Swim 7300/20,000

Bike 104/300

Run: 8.1/50

I was sick for week one but I'm going to make it. Cause I think we can make itttttttttttttttt. One more timeeeeeeeee. If I triiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. One more time for all the old timeeeeeeees........

Twenty miles a week for two weeks....no problemo!

I also have more than the spreadsheet has for me. I logged some runs and some bikes on the first week that are not included.

Here is what I have so far:

May's totals:

Bike: 7h 8m 08s - 120.92 Mi --- goal-320 miles
Run: 2h 57m 28s - 21.44 Mi --- goal-75 miles
Swim: 4h 53m - 14200 Yd --- goal-20,000 yards

I am really gonna have to put in some time next week on the bike and run if I want to make my goals. I have finals this week and a race this weekend so It's not gonna happen this week.

Alright guys, got your updates in the attached '2b' file.  Anyone else find anything?  Next week I'll wait until Monday PM or Tuesday am to do the stats and back check the weekly totals.

Yeah, I know, I know...I'm a week behind.  Out of town last week doing some horrendous plant testing.  I'd get back to the hotel, and all I could do was SLEEP.

I should be back on track (got an 8 mile run in this afternoon and hoping for a ride tonight), but I have A LOT of catching up to do...

Ha! Only one thing close to my goals. I'll hit them, never fear but it's going to not be so much fun.

I've got a three week class that I'mt aking right now that's kicking my butt in terms of time spent doing research. I can't do that on the trainer

OKay, so I had to decide to take at least a week off of running/walking because the shin splints I've been fighting with for the last 2 months are getting worse.  I'm not sure I'm going to make my goal, but I am going to try.
