OK so in the continuing saga that is the 5150 series clearwater cancellation, I posted my email last week and the non-responsive response I got from a human. Now, I get an automated email. This is too funny.

I'd love to know what they do with the data collected from the responses.  My sense is the WTC doesn't really care what its "customers" think as long as it sells out races.

If you pressed "UNSATISFIED" please explain why and include a cheque or money order for $525 in processing fees.

For what it's worth, your frustrating experience and clever workaround has inspired at least one budding race director. Im now in the planning phase of the first annual Cold Spring olympic tri. The T1/T2 and aid station will be the tailgate of my truck. If nothing else, this a great way to measure fitness pre-season, with a course that doesn't change, never sells out, and never gets cancelled. Thanks

OK, so it's only fair that I post when they make good. The check came in the mail. Still no acknowledgment of the situation from anyone at WTC, but oh well. It's all about the cash, and I got mine back. Under my son's fingers, you will see that they really do put IRONMAN on EVERYTHING.

You should invest that money into the Doughboy 5168 race for the 2012 season. Looks like it would make great prize money for the 1st place finisher!!

On the flip side, since my check came, time to register for Devilman, and a March half-mary!
