Run
Comments: Run was just as advertised. Fast and flat. This was only my second HM, but I am coming off a marathon just 1 month ago. I was in Aruba for the last 2 weeks, so havent done much since the marathon. Anyways, I PR'd by 14 minutes. I started running in April of 2010. My first HM was in April of 2011 where I ran a 1:53:xx. I finished this race in 1:39:11. It felt awesome to come around the corner and see the clock in the 1:38s. I picked up the run to a sprint and finished with the clock around 1:39:25. This was my first podium at any event coming in 3rd in my AG. I am glad I added this race as a late addition. It puts me in the right state of mind going into the winter months. What would you do differently?: I didnt need the hydration belt I wore. Plenty to drink on course. Post race
Warm down: Walked straight to my car, and drove to Thanksgiving lunch with the family. What limited your ability to perform faster: Probably could have trained for this. Event comments: This was a last minute addition. I thought the RD did an excellent job. So did the volunteers. Last updated: 2011-11-28 12:00 AM

I was at my parents for thanksgiving, so I was a little off the morning of the race. I woke up at 5, ate a PB bagel and drove to my friends ouse who was also running. We drove to the race site and did a little stretching/
Walked around to stay warm.
