Run
Comments: Awesome run as I set my PB by 2 minutes. I felt good the whole way despite being sick for most of the previous week. even though my km splits were somewhat erratic, I felt it had more to do with the terrain then with any change of effort. All in all a very enjoyable day in the sun. What would you do differently?: Not too much, If anything I would try and pick up my pace at around the 7th km instead of the 8th km and push a little harder over the last 3 km. Post race
Warm down: Walked along the inner harbour watching the opther finishers and then had a good stretch and some fruits and juice from the race sponsors What limited your ability to perform faster: More speedwork, although I am not dissapointed at all in my effort Event comments: Great race again, I have done this event 4 out of the last 5 years and it is good every year. Woke up at about 6:15am(start was at 8am) had a bowl of oatmeal w/ a banana and a cup of green tea. Drove down to the race to pickup my race package.
Jogged a couple of blocks with some friends, then went to use the washroom with about 10 mins before the start.
