What a beautiful day to run for a good cause! The torch was passed to Seattle Police Department at the city limits. We had a small but enthusiastic running group and great support staff and vehicles. I ran a 9 mile leg. That was the longest distance I've done in a run. One officer ran the whole 20. Tomorrow he will be coaching a group of athletes at the Washington Special Olympics!
What would you do differently?:

I will talk this up so that we have LOTS more Seattle Police Department runners next year!

Cool, you set a personal distance record. And you're right,its a GREAT cause.

Sorry you had to go to work right after the run. I was one of the coordinators for my torch run leg in new mexico, and most of my group had to leave early to return to work.
