No excuses!

Love the upgrades.

Sitting in my coach seat, free wifi, watching ESPN and won't miss Monday Night Football, sipping on a cold beer heading to Vegas.

Every flight needs these amenities. And love watching the inflight map although wishing I was closer to the desert rather than somewhere over Illinois.

I flew Delta last week. They overbooked my connecting flight and were looking for 1 volunteer to take a flight later in the day. In exchange for a 6 hour layover, they upgraded me to first class, gave me a voucher for free lunch at the airport, a $400 voucher for another flight anytime in the next 12 months, and vouchers for 4 free drinks on the comped flight. The only thing I wound up paying was $7.95 for wi-fi access while killing time at the Memphis airport.

You should have taken the time to get a run in!  Tongue out

Got free ticket to San Francisco in Sept.  On the way back, I was asked to give up my seat due to overbooking, and got a $400 voucher.  Used that to buy ticket flying to Hong Kong for Christmas.

Last week, my starting flight from Boston was delayed due to some mechanical problem.  They put me to a later flight, and gave me a voucher for free breakfast.  They ended up fixing the problem without much delay and I got to fly in the original plane.  They made sure my luggage follow me.  Had plenty of time for my connection flight to Hong Kong. The 15.5 hour flight from Detroit to HK was shortened to 14.75 hr and I arrived home early.  No complain.

So yeah, pretty happy with Delta (used to like Northwest, and now they are the same company).
