Hey Neighbors!

I searched back as far as a year ago and didn't see any info on this swim.

Has anyone here done this one before and have any advice or reviews of it?  This is the open water swim that starts in Bayfield, and it looks like it would be a fun weekend trip.

Thanks!

I did this swim back in 09, pretty well run and a straight foward swim. I thought it was a great spot for a swim and a really nice area.

For the course just watch how you sight and enjoy the swim.

I've been wanting to do this swim for a while but it's never worked with my schedule! I've heard it's very nice though and, if you haven't been there, Bayfield and Madeline Island are beautiful! If you could I would work in a day or two afterwards to explore the Apostle Islands or maybe the surrounding Chequamegon National Forest... Wonderful area!!!

I've done it. My in-laws live in the area. Upper 60s and smooth as glass last year. I'm told by locals that both conditions were very unusual. The area in general is one of the most overlooked natural beauties in the country.

I've done this swim twice, and its a great time, nice people, well run and beautiful! I wore a full suit and was fine with the water temps between 60-65. I plan to be there this year.
