  • 07m 16s  min/mile
Transition 1
  • 00m 55s
Comments:

I waited a while to do the shoes until I got onto the road. It was a little congested with runners coming and bikes going out.
Bike

Comments:

The wind was just unreal for this it was like riding with a parachute!

I felt like I pushed pretty hard all things considered with the wind even with my time slower than last year and I was in FAR better shape for this race.

Comments:

I pushed REALLY hard on this part of the run and was VERY pleased with my time for it!

I felt like I had spent a lot of energy on the bike trying to keep up with the wind and that took it's toll on this run but I'm still impressed with the time that I had.

I was honestly a little surprised that I was able to put up that kind of time after that bike effort.
What would you do differently?:

Not push through the wind on the bike.

Event comments:

It's a small time race that is used as a fund raiser, it's nothing special but is enjoyable and some very good athletes do show up for it.

I did finish 3rd in my AG so I was pretty stoked about that even though it's a small race.
