That website is an awesome resource to start with. It all boils down to what are they looking to do and what is their experience level. A seasoned bowhunter is probably going to be much more inclined to want pure, raw, unadulterated speed; short break height, aggressive cams, etc. To them it's all about the flattest shooting bow that has decent balance. Conversely, someone that's just looking at getting into archery (hunting) and hasn't been around the sport much is probably going to be much better suited to a longer break height (more accurate/forgiving of wobbles) and a less aggressive cam or single cam bow as that combination makes for something that's easier to draw, easier to hold and more forgiving to shoot. Now the 3D archer or competition shooter is going to be much more interested in overall balance with some combination of speed and a little more forgiveness because accuracy is what they are after. That person is probably looking for a moderate break height and a medium aggressive cam rig that balances perfectly. Of course, there's always the exceptions but that probably covers 90% of the shooters out there. You're awesome. Thanks! |

She has been stressed with a work project, arguing with her daughter about her boy friend, then last night she bumped a car in our work parking lot so now she is having trouble sleeping. So I wanted to get her something that would help with the stress so I was thinking I wanted to give her a gift certificate for a massage to help but I was worried it might be weird because we just started talking and only have been on a few dates. Well I went ahead and went with my gut and got her a card for an hour massage and hot stones. When I gave it to her she started to cry and said it was perfect. After she wrote me saying how my ex was stupid for letting me go but she is happy that she did because now we get to talk. Ya so that made me smile. |
