Comments: Just didn't have any gears left after I got to the 20 mile mark. Had a tailwind all the way down to San Luis and fought the winds all the way back. 25 mph with 33 mph gusts. It was brutal. What would you do differently?: Probably have Selena take me a fully stocked fuel belt to the turn around for me next year.  Post race
Warm down: Gotta great massage afterwards and hung out with the kids, Selena, and Rick! What limited your ability to perform faster: Fitness and the winds!!! Slept about 9 hrs!!!! Best night sleep I've ever had before a race!!! Got up @ 4 and started drinking water til about 5. Ate a bowl of grapenuts with raisins and a banana.
Not much warmup for a run this far!
