Event comments: Felt good till about 30k, then started to loose steam, esp at hills. Last 10k was pretty hard. But all in all, pretty happy with it considering I trained minimally for only abt 6 weeks due to lack of snow to ski on. And it was a beautiful day, wax didn't suck (but wasn't screaming fast either) had a lot of fun talkin to people on the course. Finish was deluded with lots of people cheering - cool! Every yr I question why I'm doing it around bitch hill, but as soon as its over, I want to do it again next year :) so that's the plan, another Birkie next year! Last updated: 2012-02-26 12:00 AM

Hung out in our room at Tellmark. Ate a bagel. Ryan, tony and Brian stopped by to get ready in our room. Walked down to the start about 20 min before my wave went off. Got there with a few minutes to spare. Lined up, and only had to wait about 5 min b4 my wave started. Perfect timing!
