Subject: 6 Months later and stress reaction sore?
I was diagnosed with a stress reaction in september.  I ended up taking 6 weeks off in Nov/Dec.  I can back with a walk/run program and built my mileave up to 30 miles this past week.  However, the last day I feel an ache/sore where I had the stress reaction.  Is this normal? I planned on backing off the mileage this week anyway but I am concerned it came back somehow.  I was doing fine for the last 2 months.  I have no pain when running I just get a slight ache 2-3 hrs after running.  Maybe its all in my head....

It might be nothing.  In my own experience, I sometimes will get little pains like that while running. For me it's been behind my knee or behind my knee cap.  Or sometimes my achilles/heel might "act up". But for me, I can tell if it's a "in my mind" kind of pain if it doesn't get worse within the workout or if it feels fine afterward and in subsequent workouts.
