I see that there are a lot of used Garmin 310 XTs for sale on ebay since the 910 came out. The prices are pretty attractive but I wonder if there are any "gotchas" to look out for?

I bought a used one a couple months ago. The only thing I can think of is the battery. All batteries have a finite number of times they can be charged/discharged, who knows if it has been charged 100 or 1000 times.
First thing I did was check for firmware updates, good thing because the installed firmware was about 4 versions old. I's been fine so far.

I have had mine for a couple years, the only negative is that the elastic strap on the HRM stretched out and needed to be replace. Not a real issue at all, other than that I love it.
