Comments: Very crowded, especially at the start. They need to organize the start so that walkers don't slow down the runners. All and all did well, not great. Given my goals for the NYC Tri I feel that I am getting within range of the time I would like to do in July. What would you do differently?: Try to get there earlier so that I can get closer to the front for the start. Post race
Warm down: Got some water, a subway six inch sub and headed over to Chevy's for post run fiesta. What limited your ability to perform faster: Having to dodge around slower runners/walkers and my lack of training leading up to the event. Last updated: 2006-04-19 12:00 AM

Got to world financial center at 6:00, race started at 6:30. Had just enough time to register, check my bag and use the bathroom. Stretched for 45 secs and drank a gatorade on the ride in.
Walking to the starting line.
