Subject: greatest horrible cross training...so did my long run this morning, got back and my wife said - time for yard work! I proceeded to stretch, have some chocolate milk, grab a quick bite, change clothes (plus put on compression socks and shorts) and then I spent six - seven hours digging out the dirt and very large rocks to start getting the ground prepped for my retaining wall. All in all my wife and I moved a large amount of rocks and dirt as well as getting some of our retaining blocks in place. shoveling, pick axing, heavy lifting and digging are extremely tiring! however relaxing afterwards by grabbing a good cold beer and dangling my legs off of my dock into frigid water was fantastic  i hope everyone else had as great a Saturday as I did! (also - GO YANTI!!!) |
