Race day signup so I did not get seeded. Had to swim over and under a lot of people to get to the finish. Pretty crazy but fun and good IM practice.

This was the same course I rode in my last race here. I shaved off 5 minutes in 1 month over the same course. Likely in part due to my new cranks and less wind.
What would you do differently?:

Picked the wrong gear on the 2nd loop for the long climb. Averages 19.4 up the first time and 18.6 the second time. Should have gone up 1 gear and pushed a bit.

Wore a pair of shoes that did not have Yanks on them. PUtting on shoes with wet feet sucked. Forgot to take off helmet as well and had to turn around and go drop it off.

Legs were pretty stiff off the bike. I tried to keep cadence high but did not help. Mile 1 was 9 minute, Mile 2 8:30 and Mile 3 was 8. Legs started to feel good right when I got to the finish.
