Run
Comments: I was able to settle in behind a father running with his two daughters. It was a good pace that challenged me just a little. I kept reminding me to just focus on "my" run and not get to distracted with other things. This worked really well for the most part--much better than for any other race I've done so far. What would you do differently?: I really don't think there's any thing I could have done differently for this one. More hill training would have helped, but I had to back off that a little because I was having some pain and didn't want to risk an injury. Post race
Warm down: Walked to the car to clean up and put some warmer clothes on. Then went back to the post-race tent and got a water and a granola bar. Had my feet massaged. This was the first race I've ever been in where the line for massages wasn't a mile long. Then to the Irish Lion for lunch!! Last updated: 2012-03-13 12:00 AM
