Subject: Training for a IM with a knee injury
Hi thereI have been to see a specialist who says my knee will be fine in about 2 months , trouble is I have entered the taupo ironman in march 2013 , has anyone else had a bad knee that came right for a ironman ? Did you focus on swims Dane bike to strengthen knees 1st ? Any tips or success story's would be awesome

Try talking to KathyG, she has had a lot of problems with her knee and walked the entire marathon for IMFL last fall.  She is still working on issues with the knee.
