Subject: RE: Sheila Taormina's new Book: Swim Speed Secrets for Triathletes.I'm a new swimmer, and in the 3 months I've been training, I've built up to doing a non-stop mile (in the pool) at a pace of 2:01/100yds (done this my second time; my first was about 2:13/100yds). I recently bought the Total Immersion book, and was going to start that training after my first tri, which was yesterday, but I'm wondering if I should get this book instead. I plan on working on flip turns so I can swim continuously without stopping ever 25yds and turning around like I've done in the past, and then was going to work on form/speed. Should I get this book, or do the TI instead? I'm leaving this in the hands of the almighty BT, help me pick!!! |
