Pre-race routine:

The race was at 6:45pm on a Friday night. We had just driven to Champaign from Chicago and went to the expo to pick up our race packet and I used this just as a final recovery run before the marathon the next morning.

Comments:

I signed up for the I-Challenge at the Illinois Marathon in Champaign which is running the 5k on Friday night and then on Saturday morning you run either the 10k, half marathon, or marathon. So. I used this as a recovery run and ran with my friends. I was scheduled for a 4mi recovery run anyway so no worries.
